A - Agriculture in "HEAL"

Agriculture is the bedrock for any nation's growth. Liberia is acutely suffering from food insecurity because we have failed to realize this simple truth. We are currently importing US$250million plus rice every year as if we do not have available land space, workforce and talents. Additionally, Liberia is importing US$7million pepper from Ivory Coast and Guinea every year as if pepper cannot grow on our soil. 

In our first 100 days as Bong County, District #3 Representative, we will work with our partners to establish communal pepper farms in the 4 clans in electoral district #3. We will hope to supply Liberia with the US$7million pepper and save the money for our district's development, create jobs, and boost our local economy. Imagine, every governmental term, we are spending US$7million x 6years outside of our economy. We will not allow this to happen when given the opportunity to lead our district as representative. We will raise a total of US$35million just from pepper farming and create more jobs in our district.
